Friday Link Love

Check out our recent discoveries:

Boss Lady: Because women run businesses - fresh new blog by Lauren Bacon & Emira Mears, two brilliant women in Vancouver who also run the divine Raised Eyebrow Web Studio. Smart, sassy, Canadian. What's not to love?

FunnyBusiness: Real Stories about Real People who have Real Jobs. - This sharp and sometimes surreal blog about business management is by BlogHer Contributing Editor and terrific writer and journalist Elana Centor, who says:

The focus of this blog is on the story, not who is telling it, or what company the story is about...These are real stories, about real people, who work real jobs, for real organizations....If you have a story that you want to share, share with me.

I could not make this stuff up. Not the shenanigans, not the showstopping, not the hidden agendas, and definitely not the policy statements.

Read her blog and still want more Elana? Of course you do. So check out her podcasts, too!

And make sure to visit the meta-blog, BlogSheroes: The Feminist Bloggers Network, managed by the tall, slinky, gorgeous and smart-smart-smart Blog Diva Liza Sabater.

Liza who runs a number of other great blogs, including Culturekitchen and The Daily Gotham. What is BlogSheroes about? Says Liza:

[Our] mission is to facilitate promotional, professional and development opportunities for feminist bloggers. We do so by managing The Feminist BlogAds Network; by serving as a directory of feminist bloggers and networks; as well as a clearinghouse of resources that will empower feminist bloggers to better support their writing as careers or new media business ventures.
